What are the Differences Between EIN and ITIN?

I’m confused about EIN and ITIN. I need to register for taxes in the US but don’t know which one applies to me as a foreign business owner. Any advice?

As a foreign business owner, you need an EIN for your business. An ITIN is for individual taxpayers without an SSN. They serve different purposes and cannot be used interchangeably.
