I recently got an EIN for my U.S. LLC as a nonresident, but I haven’t made any income yet. Do I still need to file taxes just because I have an EIN, or can I skip filing until I start earning?

Having an EIN doesn’t automatically exempt you from filing taxes. The need to file taxes depends on various factors, including your business structure, income, and other financial activities.
