I’m a Bangladeshi entrepreneur planning to start a business in the US. I don’t have an SSN. Is it still possible to get an EIN, and what’s the process for someone outside the US?

Yes, non-US residents can obtain an EIN without an SSN. Submit Form SS-4 to the IRS by fax or mail. You can also hire service providers for quicker processing if you\’re unfamiliar with IRS procedures.
