Do I need to file if my LLC had no income this year?

I registered a U.S. LLC for my freelancing work but didn’t earn anything this year. I’m confused—do I still need to file taxes for the LLC even if there was no income at all?

Absolutely. If you’re a single-member foreign-owned LLC, the IRS still wants that informational return (Form 5472 with Form 1120 as a cover). No income doesn’t mean no responsibility. Filing keeps you compliant and helps you avoid unnecessary penalty-headaches later.
