When you buy goods online from the UK, do you pay the UK Vat tax as a foreigner?

I live outside the UK and often buy products online from UK stores for my small business. I’m a bit confused—do I have to pay UK VAT on those purchases as a foreign buyer, or is it removed at checkout for international orders?

Not if you\’re not in the UK, no.

I think when we were in the EU, you\’d have to pay it if buying from the EU, but not any longer.
