Concerning VAT, is the United Kingdom still a member of the EU?

I run a small UK-based eCommerce store and have started getting more orders from EU countries. Since Brexit, I’m not sure—do UK companies still charge VAT to customers in the EU, or is it handled differently now for cross-border sales?

After Brexit, UK companies generally do not charge VAT on sales to customers in EU countries. Instead, the customer is in charge of handling the VAT at the importation point.
