I recently set up an LLC in Indiana and heard about something called a biennial report. I’m not sure what it’s for or when I need to file it. Can missing it cause any issues?

A biennial report is a mandatory filing that updates the state on your LLC’s information, such as address, registered agent, and principal office. In Indiana, it’s due every two years on the LLC’s formation anniversary month. Missing it can result in penalties or your LLC being dissolved. File it online via the Indiana Secretary of State’s website.
