When is the Delaware corporate annual report filing time?

I’ve just started a Delaware-based corporation and I’m trying to stay on top of my legal requirements. I’ve heard about the annual report that needs to be filed, but I’m confused about the deadlines. When exactly do I need to file my corporate annual report?

The Delaware corporate annual report filing deadlines vary based on the type of corporation:

Domestic Delaware Corporations must file their annual report by March 1 each year. The first report is due in the calendar year following initial registration and can be filed as early as January 1.

Foreign Delaware Corporations must file their annual report by June 30 each year. Similar to domestic corporations, the first report is due in the calendar year after registration and can be filed starting January 1.

Remember, the deadline may change, so check the due date with the Delaware Division of Corporations.

Filing on time is essential to maintain your corporation’s good standing and avoid penalties.
