In case of online store do in need business or personal paypal?

I’m launching my store as a sole proprietor. Do I really need a business PayPal and bank account, or can I stick with my personal ones for now?

When starting an online store as a sole proprietor, it\’s not legally required to have a business bank account or a business PayPal account unless PayPal isn\’t restricted in your country. You can use a personal PayPal account to receive payments for your store and personal bank account for business transactions as a sole proprietor.

However, personal accounts PayPal have limitations, such as lower transaction limits and fewer business-related features.

Not least, if PayPal isn\’t available in your country, in this case you will need to open a PayPal business account to use this payment system service. Therefore, you will need to have a business bank account.
