Right now I’m using my personal PayPal for freelance work. Is that okay or should I switch to business? What’s the risk?

Yes, a personal account can accept goods and services transactions.
Always make sure you see a record of payment completed or payment received but Pending on hold in your account first. Do not just believe payment confirmation emails as they can be faked. Also PayPal does not hide payments asking you to ship and provide tracking via email first before depositing your money. If someone really paid, you will see a transaction listing in your account activity. Then click on the \”transaction\” to see if it is ok to ship goods or not.
