I’m thinking about switching to a business PayPal for my online store. But are there any restrictions or limitations compared to using a personal PayPal—especially in terms of fees or account access?

PayPal business account differs from a personal account by offering features tailored for commercial use, such as higher transaction limits, invoicing tools, and multiple user access. It also displays the business name for privacy and integrates with shopping carts. However, it involves higher fees, stricter dispute policies, and requires business details for setup. Unlike personal accounts, business accounts cannot be used for non-commercial purposes.
Point to be noted, you can\’t get a personal PayPal account if your country doesn\’t support PayPal. In this case you need to open a business in PayPal supported countries like US, UK, Singapore, etc.
